Westmor will talk about using Salesforce and iQ to create faster, more accurate configured quotes for customers on 8/19. Register for the webinar live event where you can see a demonstration of the tool.
Westmor Industries was founded in 1972 when brothers Robert and Larry Kleepsie bought Minnesota-based Olson Blacksmith. Over the years, the company developed into a manufacturer of petroleum and liquid handling parts and equipment, now the largest in North America. In the last seven years, annual sales have tripled while its workforce has doubled.
Such growth led to systems that were outdated and couldn’t fully support the company, so Westmor set out to update both its CRM and quoting systems. A Salesforce implementation several years ago led to an introduction to Luxent’s iQ CPQ product this year.
Supporting more than 900 combinations of products within Westmor’s catalog, the iQ Configurator helps reps quickly and accurately assemble quotes that meet customers’ exact specifications. In fact, Westmor has said that quotes are now not only more accurate, but a lot easier to produce than before. When there’s a change on the cost side, it automatically makes the adjustment on the product catalog side, saving time. Additionally, there are three different template options for quote output, which offers flexibility and the possibility for more functionality down the road.
“We made the choice of iQ over other CPQ products because they advertised a simple, clean solution along with experience in the manufacturing space. Both points have proven true. The implementation staff is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They were knowledgeable in finding solutions to our quoting needs along with being flexible about adding product functionality we required that also made sense for their product long-term. We were looking for a strategic long-term partner and we found it in iQ and Luxent.” – Beth Koehl, Westmor
