Book a call00:00[Music] hey everyone happy new year my name is rachel vago and i am going to be sharing some netsuite tips and tricks something that i've dubbed sweet tip tuesday so the first thing that we're going to look at today is the date field and some keyboard shortcuts to enter dates in netsuite so i'm going to start with sharing my screen and you won't be able to see my keyboard but that's okay you can kind of imagine right along what that would look like so i'm starting out with the vendor bill transaction it's not limited to dates on transactions it can be a date anywhere like even a customer record so i have blanked out this date because the first thing that i am going to show you is when you press your t key it puts in today's date and then if you do a shift t it will be tomorrow's date a y for yesterday and then all the accounts in the room you can press your m key for the end of the month
01:11and then we also have our plus and minus keys so a plus will advance it forward and a minus will move it back and then of course at the end of the day you could always straight type your date in something helpful is you don't have to match formatting so for example i can type 12 31 21 and as soon as i tab out netsuite will reformat it based on my preferences so hope you can find that useful give it a shot throughout the week let me know how it goes and be on the lookout for next week's next week's tip have a great one everyone [Music]
