Challenge
Inari makes non-thrombolytic tools, FlowTriever and ClotTriever, to pull large blood clots from large vessels and treat the DVT/PE that affects roughly 900,000 Americans a year. When the company landed its FDA 510(k) clearance, it flipped almost overnight from an R&D shop into a full commercial operation, hiring five or six people a month and pushing past 130 employees. The separate financial and manufacturing systems that got it that far had hit their ceiling. As a regulated device maker, Inari also needed software validation built into any new platform, not bolted on after the fact.
Approach
Inari ran a structured platform evaluation, scoring core ERP functions and weighing each vendor's real familiarity with medical device work and software validation. It chose NetSuite for the extensibility and flexibility to scale with the business, and us as the partner who knew the regulatory terrain. Software validation went into the implementation plan through a third-party validation solution, and we stood up the user-defined fields Inari needed to mirror its own workflows. Ease of adoption mattered too, so the team prioritized a system that was quick to learn and navigate for a sales force growing every month.
Results
Inari moved its complete business, sales, and supply chain processes onto cloud-based ERP, giving a hyper-growth startup a single backbone instead of disconnected tools. The custom fields and on-the-fly changes proved the platform could bend to Inari's workflows rather than the other way around, and the validation work kept the rollout inside regulatory guidelines. Both finance and IT leadership pointed to our grasp of the medical device environment as the difference-maker.
